Genre and Sub-Genre Analysis of Title Sequences Into Institutions

The main difference between large budget film sequences and low budget ones are the number of credits they have within them. From looking a two low budget and 2 large budget title sequence we listed the amount of credits each has and in which order they appear in. the 2 large budget films were 10 Things I Hate About You and Mean Girls. the 2 low budget films were Beautiful Thing and My Brother The Devil.

We can see that the two large budget films have a lot more credits dedicated to other people like costume designers and music composers whereas the lower budget ones only tend to have the major roles credited like the director, producer, production company and the main cast. This is because there are a much bigger cast and crew in large budget films. Also, lower budget films will have multiple production companies involved because production companies will not want to invest a large sum of money in case the film is a failure and they will lose that money. This way, each company only invests a small amount so they do not lose a lot.
